Requirements

3+ years of previous experience working in a dispatching and/or logistics environment with oilfield experience preferred.
Effective verbal and written communication skills.
Strong computer skills, including knowledge of Microsoft Office.
Problem solving and analytical skills, as well as a strong attention to detail.
Ability to work in a fast-paced atmosphere under pressure.
Excellent multi-tasking and organizational skills.
Must be detail oriented and able to prioritize tasks.
Ability to work independently in an environment where priorities change quickly.
Exceptional customer service skills with focus on positive client experience.
Technical ability to operate within different software tracking systems to manage rosters.
Enjoys interaction with people on a singular basis and working within a team structure.

Nice To Haves

Working knowledge of the trucking and logistics industry.
Provincial and Federal laws, procedures, standards and other requirements are complied with by carriers during the performance of their duties.
Maintain current knowledge of compliance requirements for the carriers including Hours of Service and Driver Log Requirements.
Creative mindset and ability to adapt to a constantly changing roster requirements from outside factors.
Technically proficient computer skills.

Responsibilities

Assign trucks to specific jobs within oilfield locations.
Review deliveries to ensure trucks arrive at delivery location in a timely manner.
Communicate with drivers, dispatcher(s), transload staff, field personnel and supervisors throughout the shift and at shift change for current status and issues.
Handle changes in roster management throughout your shift.
Manage relationships with third party suppliers and vendors to monitor loading and delivery.
