About The Position

The Marine Corps Prepositioning Program (MCPP) is based in Jacksonville, Florida. We provide maintenance and logistic services to the U.S. Marine Corps (USMC) in support of this program. For over 35 years we have planned, coordinated, and executed the maintenance and logistic services for ground combat vehicles and support equipment for USMC Expeditionary Forces. Job Summary: Dispatches or schedules the use of all tactical and commercial vehicles assigned to the MPF program. Vehicles are used for the transportation of passengers, mail, equipment or supplies. Performs other tasks as assigned.

Requirements

  • High school graduate or equivalent.
  • Three years of directly related experience.
  • Complete the Motor Vehicle Operator Course (5T), or equivalent.
  • Meet the prerequisites of MCO 11240.66 and TM-11230-15/3, or equivalent.
  • Past driving record appropriate for issuance of SF-46, evidenced by a search of the National Driver Register.
  • Possess a U.S. Government Motor Vehicle Operator’s Identification Card (SF-46) qualified to operate M-Series tactical vehicles up to rated capacity.
  • No more than one yes in block number 6 on the Physical Fitness Inquiry for Motor Vehicle Operators (SF- 47).
  • Possess a valid State Motor Operator’s License.
  • Ability to comply with all established methods, quality standards, and time schedules applicable to this position.
  • U.S. Citizen.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a Common Access Card (CAC) and Base Access.
