About The Position
Looking to break into full time career within logistics or grow your transportation career? We're seeking a high-energy, customer-focused Dispatcher to coordinate vehicle shipments from pickup through delivery while building strong relationships with carriers and customers.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree preferred OR 1+ year of logistics, transportation, dispatch, brokerage, or supply chain experience
- OR 2-5 years of high-volume customer service/call center experience
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Tech-savvy with the ability to learn transportation software
- Proficient with Microsoft Office, especially Excel
- High energy, professional demeanor, and strong sense of urgency
Nice To Haves
- Experience in trucking, transportation, brokerage, 3PL, fleet operations, automotive, or logistics is highly preferred.
Responsibilities
- Manage shipments from assignment through delivery
- Monitor load status and provide shipment updates
- Source carrier capacity and coordinate transportation moves
- Resolve delays, service issues, and delivery exceptions
- Maintain accurate information within the TMS system
- Partner with operations, carriers, and customers to ensure successful deliveries
