About The Position
The Dispatcher is responsible for managing and coordinating the movement of trucks to ensure timely and efficient delivery of shipments. This role involves constant communication, meticulous record-keeping, and proactive problem-solving to maintain operational flow.

Responsibilities
- Answer the phone
- Continuously monitor emails and respond in a timely manner
- Keep the dispatch/load board up to date
- Price Shipments
- Obtain all information necessary to dispatch the proper truck(s) to the correct pickup and delivery points, as well as all information necessary for the proper rating and invoicing of the shipment.
- Dispatch trucks and maintain control of each shipment until it reaches its destination
- Immediately report any incident or accident to Terminal Manager
- Secure all permits
- Be responsible for correct address and phone number of each customer
- Report customer complaints or lost business to Terminal Manager
- Coordinate all activity with the next dispatcher shift each evening and each morning.
