About The Position

The Dispatcher will report to Branch Manager and Branch Supervisor. This position provides information and support to drivers.

Requirements

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Computer literacy and the ability to function in an electronic communication environment are essential.
• A working knowledge of regulatory compliance requirements is necessary.
• A commitment to comply with and support safety standards, as well as, all regulatory and company policies and procedures is imperative.
• CDL B with Hazmat and Tanker Endorsement
• TWIC and Medical card
• Positive attitude under stress conditions
• History of reliable work performance
• Excellent communication, relationship building and planning skills
• Understand the importance and value of effective customer relations and satisfaction to the success of the business
• Excellent computer skills required

Nice To Haves

• Prior dispatch experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Organize, control and manage the successful delivery of customer orders.
• Provide information and support to drivers.
• Make sound business decisions in driver deployment.
• Get in truck when needed.
