The Dispatcher coordinates daily aircraft fueling operations to ensure safe, timely, and efficient service. Working from the airport control center, this role monitors flight schedules, assigns fuelers to gates, and maintains clear communication with flight crews and ground staff.

Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Possess and maintain a valid U.S. driver’s license with an acceptable motor vehicle record in accordance with company standards
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
  • Ability to maintain reliable transportation to and from the assigned work location
  • Availability to work flexible schedules, including nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed
  • Ability to maintain regular and reliable attendance
  • Ability to successfully complete a pre-employment drug screening and applicable background checks, including federal fingerprinting, in accordance with regulatory requirements
  • Ability to access all areas of the airport necessary to perform job duties, including secured areas, in compliance with airport and federal regulations
  • Ability to obtain and maintain any required government security clearance; employment is contingent upon successful completion of all applicable background checks and clearance requirements as determined by the contracting agency

  • Self-motivated with the ability to prioritize and complete tasks with minimal supervision
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively in a fast-paced operational environment

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience as a dispatcher (e.g., emergency services, transportation, or logistics)
  • Administrative or coordination experience utilizing computer-based systems
  • Background in logistics, commercial aviation, or supply chain operations

Responsibilities

  • Monitor aircraft schedules from the control center and assign fuelers to corresponding airport gates
  • Serve as the operational “eyes in the sky” to ensure timely and safe fuel dispatching
  • Manage and coordinate a team of up to 10 fuelers per shift to help flight operations
  • Communicate with aircraft representatives and fueling staff while maintaining accurate records and planning for upcoming arrivals
  • Perform additional duties as assigned to meet operational needs
