About The Position

FCC Environmental Services, LLC is seeking a dedicated, detail-oriented Dispatcher to coordinate timely route completion. The Dispatcher handles incoming service orders, directs drivers, and resolves service issues, using strong organizational skills and an understanding of transportation management systems.

The role includes assigning and monitoring loads and routes, tracking employee hours and driver compliance, maintaining DOT documentation, collecting vehicle inspections, and coordinating shop work orders. Other job-related duties may be assigned or apparent.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Experience in a customer-facing position.
• Strong organizational skills.
• A solid understanding of transportation management systems.

Nice To Haves

• Two years of prior experience working as a dispatcher.

Responsibilities

• Assign loads to drivers based on designated routes, jobs, and driver location.
• Monitor route time intervals for gaps.
• Monitor employee hours to minimize overtime.
• Balance the distribution of hours between drivers.
• Monitor driver times to ensure compliance with Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations.
• Ensure driver DOT logs are current before dispatching drivers.
• Collect daily pre- and post-trip inspections.
• Create work orders for the shop.
• Collect completed work orders and enter data into a tracking spreadsheet or other systems.
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned or apparent.
