About The Position

Dispatchers are the first point of contact when calling the University of Alberta Protective Services. They perform a variety of communication and dispatching duties for emergency and non-emergency calls; dispatches UAPS personnel to calls for service; and operates a variety of communications and electronic equipment including radio, telephone, computer, and security and camera monitoring systems. Dispatchers will have their work assigned and overseen by the on duty Sergeant, Patrol Services Division.

Requirements

• Internal candidates and former employees of the University of Alberta will be given priority consideration.
• Work primarily takes place at North Campus, Edmonton.
• Work is assigned and overseen by the on duty Sergeant, Patrol Services Division.
