About The Position

As a Dispatcher, you will monitor and coordinate security officers through phone, radio, and dispatch software, ensuring timely response to incidents and service calls. You will log all activities accurately, provide excellent customer service to clients and officers, and utilize technology systems to manage resources effectively. You'll also maintain situational awareness to anticipate and respond to needs, ensuring seamless communication between field personnel and supervisors. Our training program is recognized and credits hours towards the Continuing Education of all Active unarmed/armed security licenses for DOPL . We can also assist in either getting or upgrading your license.

Requirements

  • Must be 18 years or older and eligible to work in the United States.
  • Must be able to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
  • Tech-savvy and comfortable with computers, apps, and dispatch systems.
  • Must be able to type on average 60 wpm.
  • Must have a flexible schedule to accommodate various shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Physically capable of performing the duties of the position, including walking up/downstairs and maintaining full alertness throughout the shift.
  • Must possess sound judgement and decision-making skills in both routine and emergency situations.
  • Ability to meet grooming and professional appearance standards.
  • Must be able to lift, carry, and move items weighing up to 10 lbs. as part of regular duties.
  • Strong observation and attention to detail skills, with the ability to identify and report security issues or safety hazards promptly.
  • Must be able to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating reliability and a strong work ethic.

  • Customer service orientation is highly desirable, with the ability to interact professionally and courteously with clients, visitors, and the general public.
