Dispatcher Requires advanced problem solving skills, responsibility for directing problem solving resources, and detailed creation and analysis of data. Advanced skills in Microsoft Office, including Excel, (spreadsheet and formula creation, data mining, Pivot tables, and chart and graph creation) are required. Selection for the position will be based on timed testing to demonstrate Microsoft Office and Excel skills, plus interview.
Requirements
- Must be able to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
- Must demonstrate proficiency in use of Microsoft Office tools, including advanced Excel skills for building and using spreadsheets, Pivot tables, graphs, charts, and other visual management tools.
- Must be able to multitask.
- Must demonstrate skill in methodical problem solving and coaching.
- Will be required to successfully complete TMOS training in upcoming plant wave.
- This position may require access to United States export controlled technical data (“CTD”) and hardware under the Departments of US State (ITAR) and/or Commerce (EAR). Eligible candidates are; US Citizens, Green Card holders, Asylees or others eligible to receive US export license authorizations.

Responsibilities
- Monitor andon activation and directs response and escalation.
- Immediately gather and record facts when andon is initiated.
- Track duration of the andon event and dispatch appropriate support (Eng., Maint, and Quality) based on a standard escalation protocol.
- Data mine the andon database for past occurrences and provide this information to support groups in order to aid in problem-solving and reduce downtime.
- Track all open A3s/5Cs and provide advance notice of upcoming report outs.
- Monitor all closed A3s to record countermeasure effectiveness.
- Measure, record, and report key metrics as directed.
- Ensure all visual management tools in the Obeya are displayed per the standard.
- Develop, record, and publish spreadsheets as needed.
- Assist in designing and building visual management tools as directed.
- Assist in problem solving and coaching others in problem solving.
- Assist with additional TMOS requirements on the floor as needed.
- Perform all other tasks, activities, and responsibilities as assigned or needed.
