About The Position

AP Plumbing is seeking a self-motivated Dispatcher for their Rochester, NY location. The dispatcher will interact directly with customers and service technicians, ensuring high standards of customer service and facilitating prompt and accurate service. Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent required
1 or more years of customer service experience
Excellent written, verbal, and active listening skills
Strong administrative skills
Technical knowledge
Strong organizational skills
Ability to work individually and as part of a team
Problem-solving skills

Prior dispatch experience is preferred but not required

Responsibilities

Dispatch residential HVAC service efficiently and accurately utilizing various technology, including GPS, Service Titan, phone systems, and more.
Resolve scheduling issues and customer complaints
Continually update service writers with the availability of dates and time frames
Implement reschedules and limit the number of calls when necessary
Schedule technician training
Absorb and utilize industry technical knowledge
Manage and document technician sick days and vacation requests
Assist in covering branches and commercial dispatching.
Schedule vehicle repairs and oil changes
Perform dispatching duties for partner companies
