About The Position

Sanel NAPA Auto Parts is looking for a Dispatcher to lead their delivery operations and help provide exceptional service to their commercial and retail customers. The Dispatcher will coordinate delivery routes, support the team of Delivery Drivers, communicate with customers, and ensure parts arrive safely and on time. This role is ideal for someone who is organized, fast-paced, great at coordinating people, enjoys solving problems, and making sure everything runs smoothly. Requirements

High school diploma or GED.
Strong computer skills and the ability to learn dispatch software.
Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
Strong communication and customer service skills.
Ability to make quick decisions in a fast-paced environment.
Valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record.

Nice To Haves

Previous dispatch, logistics, warehouse, delivery, transportation, automotive, or customer service experience is a plus—but we're willing to train the right candidate.

Responsibilities

Dispatch and coordinate local delivery routes for maximum efficiency.
Assign deliveries based on customer priority, traffic, and driver availability.
Monitor driver progress using NAPA Delivery Tracker.
Communicate with customers regarding delivery updates and special requests.
Support Delivery Drivers and step in to make deliveries when needed.
Coordinate order staging and ensure hazardous material documentation is included when required.
Process customer returns and ensure timely credit processing.
Monitor department scheduling and labor hours.
Complete weekly vehicle safety inspections and maintain fleet documentation.
Assist with online orders and incoming phone calls during busy periods.
Promote a culture of teamwork, customer service, and safety.
