This position is responsible for ensuring that drivers report to their scheduled work shifts on time, notifying customers of service delays, answering customer calls, arranging coverage for call-offs, ensuring operators depart on time, providing written documentation of incidents, communicating clearly with others, providing client information on location and ETA, making cost-effective decisions regarding trip/driver assignments, monitoring the Transit Radio System (TRS) for radio activities, monitoring the AVL screen to prevent late routes and optimize resource utilization, maintaining a dispatch communication log, performing administrative duties, and other duties as required. The role operates in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment and requires working in a union environment. Employment is contingent upon passing a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
