Your Role & Responsibilities Job Summary Inform customers of unit prices, shipping details, anticipated delays, and any additional information needed by the customer after the placement of the original order. Check delivery tickets for changes or mistakes. Submit completed BOLs to the appropriate CSR; create millrun BOLs Perform order double checks. Performs all duties in strict accordance of company safety and environmental policies. Serve as backup in unloading inbound freight when a Driver is unavailable. Check inventory control and notify Facility Manager of orders that would deplete stock. Confer with sales, shipping, warehouse, or common carrier personnel to expedite or trace missing or delayed shipments. Coordinate deliveries to maximize truck capacity and efficiency. Dispatch drivers providing complete instructions. Evaluate Drivers’ performance. Monitors Drivers’ DOT hours. Perform truck inspections with drivers on a weekly basis. Maintains ELD system, corrects errors and retrieves daily reports. Assist Facility Manager in the day to day matters of the facility. Manage the facility Intelex reporting system. Demonstrate and facilitate open and honest communication with the department and with employees at all levels of the company. Communicate regularly within the department on appropriate matters. Communicate with peer managers across the company. Related duties as assigned.
