About The Position

Superior Plus Propane has a career opportunity for a Dispatcher who would be responsible for the efficient distribution of liquid products within their region. This includes maintaining systems data, routing and supporting delivery drivers, maintaining effective system forecasting, and reporting distribution metrics to superiors. As a Dispatcher, you will work closely with field operations to improve efficiency with deliveries, as well as resource and demand planning.

Requirements

High School Diploma or GED
2 years related experience
Knowledge of Microsoft Office products
On-call and weekend availability
Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
Legal Authorization to work in the US is required. We will not sponsor individuals for employment visas now or in the future for this job opening.

Nice To Haves

CDL Class A or B preferred
Forklift experience preferred

Responsibilities

Communicate with field operations and customers to support daily delivery needs.
Ensure accurate customer data, account setup, and forecasting factors.
Plan efficient delivery routes and schedules that meet customer demand.
Build base driver routes and follow distribution SOPs.
Recommend weekly driver/truck allocations to improve fill rates and reduce OOG events.
Provide daily route reporting to support efficiency and customer experience.
Maintain records and databases to support continuous improvement.
Manage forecasting variables and determine optimal delivery windows.
Monitor delivery schedules and track shipments.
Coordinate with transport on loading, unloading, and product movement.
Other duties as assigned.
