About The Position
Empire Distributors Inc, a leading beverage distributor, is seeking a Dispatcher for their Austell, GA location. The Dispatcher will play a key role in coordinating deliveries, monitoring driver performance, and ensuring operational efficiency.
Requirements
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Some knowledge of warehouse software as well as basic Windows functions, i.e. SAP, KEA, Excel, and Word.
Responsibilities
- Coordinates any and all unmade or returned deliveries and communicates status to all appropriate personnel.
- Consistently monitors and reviews driver daily performance to maximize delivery accuracy and efficiency.
- Reviews and analyzes previous deliveries for under payment/ over payment and uncollected route deliveries.
- Coordinates collection and rectification of all delivery payment discrepancies.
- Has daily interaction with drivers to ensure safety and performance expectations are communicated.
- Enforces compliance with administrative policies, procedures, safety rules, and government regulations.
- Prepares recommendations for management evaluation in order to improve work efficiencies.
- Supports Collection Supervisor.
- Other duties as assigned by the Transportation Manager.
