About The Position
Provides a safe and secure environment for all persons on premises by providing security-related communication, documentation, fire life safety and security systems monitoring along with security officer dispatch services. This position requires flexibility of hours.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- Minimum one year experience in dispatch, security, law enforcement or military.
- AVADE training required within 90 days of hire/transfer.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
- Conflict resolution skills with the ability to function decisively under stress.
- Flexibility and ability to prioritize.
Nice To Haves
- Experience in hospital security and/or dispatch operations preferred.
- Current Public Safety Dispatchers' Basic Course certification issued by California (CA) POST
- Bilingual preferred.
- Communicates fluently in Spanish preferred.
