About The Position

Provides a safe and secure environment for all persons on premises by providing security related communication, documentation, fire life safety and security systems monitoring along with security officer dispatch services. This position requires flexibility of hours.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Minimum one year experience in dispatch, security, law enforcement or military.
• AVADE training required within 90 days of hire/transfer.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
• Conflict resolution skills with the ability to function decisively under stress.
• Flexibility and ability to prioritize.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in hospital security and/or dispatch operations preferred.
• Current Public Safety Dispatchers' Basic Course certification issued by California (CA) POST
• Bilingual preferred.
• Communicates fluently in Spanish preferred.
