About The Position

Job Responsibilities: The Dispatch Coordinator will be responsible for managing the truck’s flow and production. Schedule truck’s work as efficiently as possible in accordance with our clients SLA’s Schedule pickups and appointments. Maintain Reports daily to track pickups. Enter all pertinent information into software applications and AS400. Communicate any issues to supervisor/manager in a timely manner. Work with a tow truck driver to keep them flowing. Work with the admin to help with any units needing to be moved. Visibly demonstrate safety commitment by following all safety and health procedures and modeling the behaviors related to such. Work in cooperation with safety leadership in support of all safety activities aligned with Safety Excellence. Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma/GED and 3 years’ experience in a related field.
  • OR the right candidate could also have a different combination, such as any level degree/certification beyond a HS diploma/GED in a related discipline; OR 5 years’ experience in a related field.
  • Drug Testing To be employed in this role, you’ll need to clear a pre-employment drug test.
  • Cox Automotive does not currently administer a pre-employment drug test for marijuana for this position. However, we are a drug-free workplace, so the possession, use or being under the influence of drugs illegal under federal or state law during work hours, on company property and/or in company vehicles is prohibited.
