About The Position

The Co-op Refinery Complex is hiring a Dispatcher I (24 Hour) on a permanent basis. This position requires on-site work and is based in Regina, SK. The shift involves 12-hour shifts, working 4 days on (2 days, 2 nights) followed by 5 days off. This role is responsible for overseeing and optimizing supply chain operations, including operating and maintaining the Terminal Management System, managing loading racks, products, and customers, and handling Bills of Lading for truck and rail. The position also involves analyzing and planning rail and truck loading, forecasting loading plans, conducting driver orientation and training, performing data entry, maintaining Bill of Lading printers, confirming carrier freight, managing inventory at bulk plants, and tracing/expediting shipments. The Dispatcher I will also handle telephone duties as required and other assigned tasks.

Requirements

  • High school diploma, plus business course, which includes data entry training on comparable equipment or six months’ data entry experience, or an equivalent combination of training and experience is required.
  • Eligible to enroll in CITT Level I certification.

Responsibilities

  • Operate and maintain Terminal Management System.
  • Maintain operation of loading racks, products, and customers.
  • Maintain rack and product information (products, temperatures, additive rates, recipes etc.).
  • Generate, process and key truck and rail Bills of lading.
  • Analyze and plan rail and truck loading.
  • Forecast loading plan.
  • Driver orientation and training.
  • Performs data entry duties related as required.
  • Maintain bill of lading printers.
  • Confirm carrier freight from Bills of lading, including truck and rail dispatch as required.
  • Inventory management at corporate bulk plants; tracing and expediting of shipments.
  • Telephone duties as required.
  • Other duties as assigned.
