Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Proven experience in dispatching, delivery coordination, or logistics support.
• Strong knowledge of transportation and delivery operations within the United States.
• Proficiency with delivery tracking software and basic computer applications.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily delivery schedules and dispatch drivers to ensure timely pickups and deliveries.
• Communicate proactively with drivers, customers, and warehouse teams to provide updates and resolve any delivery issues.
• Monitor delivery progress using tracking systems and adjust routes or schedules as needed to optimize efficiency.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, driver logs, and any incidents or delays encountered during transit.
• Ensure compliance with all safety regulations, company policies, and transportation laws.
• Collaborate with other departments to forecast delivery needs and support continuous improvement initiatives.
• Respond promptly to customer inquiries and provide solutions to delivery-related concerns.
