About The Position

GFT Ready Mix is a rapidly growing, family-run business founded in 1999, built on a team-oriented culture and supportive atmosphere. The company is seeking an experienced Ready Mix Order Taker/Scheduler responsible for taking orders, processing payments, and scheduling to facilitate the deployment of goods and services. Prior ready mix dispatching experience is preferred for this role.

Requirements

• 2+ years of customer service experience, preferably in a call center or within dispatching
• Computer experience, including but not limited to Microsoft office products
• Ability to work independently and make decisions while providing excellent customer service to both our customers and our drivers
• Knowledge of Flagstaff, Williams and surrounding areas
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen
• Ability to pass a background check
• Ability to work weekends as needed
• Positive attitude and a strong work ethic

Nice To Haves

• 1+ years of ready mix dispatching experience
• Prior experience using dispatch software
• Command Alkon Series software experience

Responsibilities

• Complete order intake and assist customers in identifying proper products needed for specific end uses
• Scheduling and organizing loads to ensure material is delivered per the customer’s requested delivery time
• Coordinate with multiple drivers to properly execute load deliveries, communicate job site locations and directions, and where to unload upon arrival at the customer’s job site
• Constantly review schedules and customer orders throughout the day to anticipate business trucking demands
• Immediately report any delivery problems for quick resolution or mitigation
• Complete daily reports
• Other duties as needed
