About The Position

This role is in support of Cencora's distribution services in the US operating through our AmerisourceBergen business. The Dispatcher - Container Freight Specialist is responsible for coordinating and monitoring all inbound international shipments scheduled for the NHP CFS. This includes monitoring TMS reports, ensuring timely freight recovery, completing activities in TMS for the BONDED Room, and monitoring drivers for BONDED shipment recovery from the airline. The role also involves reviewing and monitoring Bonded freight daily, maintaining cold chain within the CFS, creating Customs Blue Manipulation for replenishment, and entering replenishment details into TMS. Additionally, the specialist will monitor and maintain cold chain for shipments on FDA hold, ensure all shipments within the CFS are secured and safely stored, and adhere to all SOPs and policies. Reporting complaints and issues to management immediately is crucial. Inventory management includes monitoring the Virtual Import Board and coordinating with WCB for shipment nominations to the Bonded Room. The role requires maintaining customs documentation, ensuring shipments are moved from the CFS once cleared and sent to the “G-O” warehouse when thresholds are met. Daily audits of the CFS for regulatory compliance, achieving personal targets, and ensuring compliance with health and safety codes are also key responsibilities. Adherence to all organizational processes and workflow, and adoption of Designated Screening Area (DSA) rules in the Bonded Area are expected.

Requirements

  • Proficient knowledge of TMS applicable Reports.
  • General knowledge of the airport and surrounding area.
  • Proficient in Excel, Microsoft teams and Outlook email.
  • Excellent communication skills and a collaborator.
  • Sense of urgency.

  • Ability to multitask.
  • Willing to work additional shifts and hours when required based upon the Business needs.
  • Must be able to lift at least 50lbs.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinating and monitoring all inbound INTL shipments scheduled for the NHP CFS.
  • Monitoring TMS report for all international arrivals to ensure that freight is recovered in a timely manner.
  • Completing all activities in TMS pertaining to the BONDED Room.
  • Monitoring drivers to ensure all BONDED shipments are recovered from the airline.
  • Reviewing and monitoring Bonded freight daily, ensuring that cold chain is maintained within the CFS.
  • Creating Customs Blue Manipulation for replenishment in the Bonded room.
  • Entering Gather replenishment details daily into TMS.
  • Monitoring and maintaining cold chain for all shipments on FDA hold.
  • Ensure all shipments withing the CFS are secured and safely stored.
  • Ensuring that all SOPs and policies are followed.
  • Reporting all complaints and issues to management immediately.
  • Inventory Management - Monitor the Virtual Import Board, coordinate with WCB to nominate shipments to be moved to the Bonded Room that will not put the room at capacity.
  • Maintain all customs related documentation (Form 3499, etc.)
  • Ensure all shipments are moved from the CFS once cleared
  • Ensure all shipments are sent to “G-O” warehouse once threshold is met.
  • Conduct daily audits of the CFS to ensure full compliance of CFS regulations.
  • Achieve agreed personal targets and assist Manager to achieve team targets.
  • Ensure compliance to codes including health and safety.
  • Adhere to all processes as it relates to organization and workflow.
  • Adopt Designated Screening Area (DSA) rules in the Bonded Area by preventing and challenging unauthorized entry.
