Requirements

  • High School Diploma, GED, or related experience and/or training.
  • A valid Driver’s License is required.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills with a focus on customer service.
  • Works well independently and in a team environment.
  • Ability to read, write and speak English.
  • Prolonged periods of sitting, standing, walking and being at a computer.
  • Must have the ability and willingness to work in all weather conditions, around moving parts, airborne particles and chemicals.
  • Must have the physical strength, balance and stamina necessary to complete jobs in various areas with the ability to lift, push or pull up to 60-pounds at times.
  • Ability to learn and develop proficient dispatch procedures, routing and agronomy operational workflows while maintaining accurate records within company software systems.

Nice To Haves

  • A Class A CDL with endorsements and applicator’s license that meets the minimum compliance requirements of the regulatory state is preferred.
  • Application, tender experience and chemical knowledge is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Work closely with the Sales Agronomist and Custom Applicators to ensure equipment is dispatched to customers in a timely and efficient manner providing clear directions and maps to Custom Applicators across multiple locations.
  • Ensure compliance with all CPI policies, regulations, procedures, and practices, including all local, state, and federal laws.
  • Support Agronomy and Transportation dispatching by organizing daily work orders, application schedules, and fertilizer deliveries.
  • Communicate with agronomists, applicators, operational personnel, and customers regarding scheduling updates and operational changes.
  • Monitor daily progress of dispatched work and communicate delays, issues, or changes when necessary.
  • Support inventory tracking and coordination of products needed for agronomy operations.
  • Help identify opportunities to improve efficiency in daily dispatch and logistics activities.
  • Provide backup coverage for dispatch functions during absences, peak seasons, or periods of increased workloads.
