About The Position

The Dispatch Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily dispatch operations, staff performance, scheduling, and communication systems to ensure efficient and effective support of hospital operations and emergency response. This role provides direct supervision of dispatch staff, ensures compliance with hospital policies, and supports emergency preparedness efforts.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• One Year Relevant Experience
• Valid Drivers License
• Must Obtain Everbridge Certifications within 90 days of hire.
• Must obtain Aegis Certification (De-escalation) within 6 months of hire.
• Must obtain ICS 100 & 200 within 6 months of hire.

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience in Healthcare Security
• Previous experience in emergency communication dispatch
• Previous experience in Law Enforcement
• Previous experience in Emergency Management
• Experience with CCTV/Access Control Systems
• Experience with emergency response protocols/procedures
• Experience with alert and emergency notification systems

Responsibilities

• Oversee all dispatch and communication center operations
• Manage dispatch systems and applications (Omnigo, Avigilon, Everbridge, etc.)
