Marksman Security is seeking a dependable, alert, and technology-savvy Dispatch / Communications Officer to monitor and coordinate response across our client portfolio from a premier corporate command center. Requirements

Valid FL Security D License
Valid FL Driver's License
High school diploma or equivalent
Ability to pass a criminal background check and drug test
Technology skills: operate access control systems, utilize a computer for incident reports, operate security software systems or applications, use email
Strong customer service skills, professional demeanor, and appearance
Experience managing multiple tasks, executing radio and telephone communications, and performing in a medium to high pressure environment with frequently changing and/or competing demands
Familiarity with report writing
Excellent surveillance and observation skills
Above-average written and verbal communication skills
Strong interpersonal skills with a demonstrated ability to interact effectively with client staff and the public
Willingness and ability to work across multiple client sites and shifts based on operational need

Responsibilities

Monitor CCTV, alarm, and access control systems from the Security Operations Center / dispatch desk
Dispatch officers and coordinate response to alarms, incidents, or emergencies across client sites
Respond to calls of distress or emergencies such as fire, injuries, or the presence of unauthorized persons by contacting police, fire departments, and/or local emergency response teams
Prepare clear, concise, and accurate incident reports and shift logs
Operate dispatch/monitoring platforms, incident reporting software, and email
Manage multiple simultaneous alerts and radio/telephone communications in a high-pressure environment
Perform other duties as determined by the security supervisor
