About The Position

The Dock Experts is seeking a dynamic and detail -oriented Dispatch Coordinator to join our team and drive the successful execution of construction projects from inception to completion. In this role, you will serve as a vital link between project teams, contractors, and clients, ensuring that all aspects of the project are coordinated efficiently. Your energetic approach and strong organizational skills will help keep projects on schedule, within budget, and aligned with quality standards. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to impactful construction initiatives while developing your expertise in project management and construction coordination.

Requirements

  • 2–5 years of construction scheduling experience, preferably in marine or heavy civil construction.
  • Knowledge of environmental regulations, permitting constraints, and safety requirements for marine work.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.

Nice To Haves

  • Construction scheduling experience is preferred.
  • Strong Excel and reporting skills.
  • CRM (ZOHO Projects)

Responsibilities

  • Daily review of scheduling calendars and make adjustments to calendars daily as needed.
  • Communicate with sales and clients a project timelines and updates
  • Coordinate field crews and subcontractors, ensuring safe, efficient, and high -quality workmanship.
  • Report directly to and work closely alongside the Construction Manager to support daily operations
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for proactive client communication throughout the project lifecycle
  • Own and manage the end -to -end coordination process, ensuring consistency and follow -through
  • Dispatch jobs efficiently and coordinate resources to maximize productivity and utilization
  • Partner with the Sales team to align project timelines, handoffs, and customer expectations
  • Contact clients to secure outstanding payments via phone
  • Coordinate communication across internal teams, external partners, and clients
  • Handle client issues professionally, with strong de -escalation and problem -resolution skills
