Under the direction of the Dispatch and Logistics Manager, the Dispatch Coordinator is responsible for supporting activities related to the movement and distribution of people, supplies, and materials within the organization, as well as prioritizing, coordinating, and dispatching service activities in the field across Magnum’s multiple service lines. This role ensures that company requirements and customer needs are met or exceeded in the course of daily operations, optimizing Magnum’s entire transportation cycle. The Dispatch Coordinator role encompasses three levels of seniority based on skillset and experience with Magnum’s various external service lines, as well as the ability to support multi-regionally, with Magnum’s regions being Canada and the United States. Magnum’s external service lines include Oilfield Cementing, Fluid Services, Soil Stabilization, and Isolation Technologies. Specific definitions on the levels are as follows: Dispatch Coordinator 1 – Fully Competent in Multi-Regional Call Sheet Creation for Internal Moves + Service Lines The Dispatch Coordinator 1 position is an entry-level position into the role. Dispatch Coordinator 1’s can competently and successfully create and build call sheets for all internal hauls, as well as for the Oilfield Cementing, Fluid Services, and Soil Stabilization service lines at a multi-regional level, including booking accommodations for travel. This role will also gain a working knowledge of field operations in one of Magnum’s service lines, acting as entry-level field support staff to become familiar with crews and equipment, as well as job scope. Dispatch Coordinator 2 – Fully Competent in Level 1 Tasks + Dispatching Oilfield Cementing, Soil Stabilization, and Fluid Services Jobs The Dispatch Coordinator 2 position is a specialized position awarded to Dispatch Coordinators who have a proven track record of level 1 tasks, as well as interfacing with vendors and customers to dispatch internal hauls and external work for the Oilfield Cementing, Soil Stabilization, and Fluid Services service lines, including the planning of driver tasks. Dispatch Coordinator 3 – Fully Competent in Level 1 & 2 Tasks The Dispatch Coordinator 3 position is a specialized position awarded to Dispatch Coordinators who have a proven track record of competently and successfully performing all level 1 and level 2 tasks for the Oilfield Cementing, Fluid Services, and Soil Stabilization service lines, as well as able to support a 24/7 coverage rotation. This role will also support the Isolation Technologies service line as applicable. This role is for Dispatch Coordinator 1.
