Associate is responsible for accurately processing customer orders, coordinating with manufacturing and picking teams, and ensuring completed products are inspected, packaged, and prepared for shipment. This role requires strong attention to detail, basic computer skills, and proficiency in Microsoft Excel. The Herff Jones team is looking for a Dispatch Clerk/Inspector to join our HJ Family in Arcola, IL.
Requirements
- Basic to intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Excel
- Ability to accurately scan, track, and process orders using operating systems
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to inspect products for quality and completeness
- Ability to stand, lift, and perform repetitive tasks as required
Nice To Haves
- Experience in a warehouse, manufacturing, or production environment preferred
Responsibilities
- Scan incoming orders into operating systems accurately and efficiently
- Assign and distribute work orders to product pickers
- Match customer orders to completed products from manufacturing
- Inspect finished products to ensure quality and accuracy
- Bag, box, and prepare completed products for shipment
- Maintain accurate records and track order status using Excel and internal systems
