About The Position

Become a Key Player as a Dispatch Associate. As a Dispatch Associate, you will own carrier communication and scheduling to keep inbound and outbound operations flowing smoothly. You will impact on-time throughput by coordinating drivers, loaders, receivers, and yard drivers while using TMS and WMS systems. This is an onsite role working assigned shifts (1st: M–F 6:30 AM–3:00 PM; 2nd: M–F 3:30 PM–12:00 AM with a $0.50/hr differential).

Requirements

• Prior dispatch, shipping office, or carrier coordination experience
• Strong TMS and WMS skills and the ability to multi-task under time pressure
• Professional phone and email communication skills in English
• Reliable transportation and consistent attendance
• Ability to comply with onsite safety requirements (reflective vest, enclosed-toe shoes, badge/fob access)

Responsibilities

• Schedule and communicate with carriers for inbound and outbound appointments
• Check drivers in and out using TMS and WMS
• Maintain accurate dispatch logs, seal records, and door assignments
• Coordinate door and trailer moves with loaders, receivers, and yard drivers
• Escalate delays, no-shows, and detention issues to appropriate stakeholders
