About The Position

High Mountain Transport is a family-owned company and has an immediate opening for an Admin Assistant in Sparks, NV. We are looking for workers who take pride in their job and have excellent attention to detail. The ideal candidate will be adept at problem-solving and working in a fast-paced environment. This position will provide hands-on training for this role, but we are looking for an individual who is a quick learner and able to think independently. This role will expand to include additional responsibilities as the candidate is trained.

Requirements

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or other related software
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Basic understanding of clerical procedures and systems such as recordkeeping and filing
  • Ability to work independently and as a team member
  • Quick learner
  • Able to think independently

Responsibilities

  • Quick and accurate data entry in company software maintaining order details.
  • Answering phones, transferring calls or handling customer inquiries.
  • Receiving orders and entering them into appropriate software.
  • Keeping accurate paperwork and regular filing.
  • Handles customer service requests and communicates order updates as requested.
  • Collaborates with other departments to ensure complete communication.
  • Other job duties as assigned.
