About The Position

Step into the enchanting world of Disney Programs, home to the Disney College Program, Disney Culinary Program, and Disney International Program! Meet the Disney Program Experience team, our magic-makers. Their mission is to ensure participants have a magnificent, unforgettable program experience! Ready to embark on this adventure? Head to the Programs Office at Apprentice Hall at Flamingo Crossings Village; your "one-stop shop" for program success. The Cast Members in the Programs Office will guide our participants from arrival to program graduation. This internship is a full-time, six-month commitment in Orlando, Florida, from January 2027 through June 2027.

Requirements

  • A valid U.S. driver’s license (operating a company vehicle is required for this role).
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office 365.
  • Comfortable lifting 45 pounds, walking up and down multiple flights of stairs, and standing for long periods of time.
  • Guest service skills, with the ability to problem-solve and resolve conflicts independently.
  • Highly detail-oriented with strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively manage and balance multiple projects and competing priorities.
  • Successfully completed a Disney College Program, Disney Culinary Program, or Disney Internship.
  • Demonstrated ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion and professionalism.
  • Be enrolled in an accredited college/university, pursuing a degree, taking at least one class at the time of application, OR currently participating in a Disney College Program or Disney Internship.
  • Have not completed one year of continual employment on a Disney Internship or Disney College Program.
  • Be at least 18 years of age.
  • Possess unrestricted work authorization.
  • Fully available from Monday to Friday, 8:45 AM – 5:15 PM Eastern Time Zone, with possible weekends or shifts that are outside of these hours for the duration of the internship, 40 hours each week.
  • Able to provide own housing for the duration of the internship program in the Orlando, Florida area.
  • Able to provide/have reliable transportation to/from work.
  • Be aligned with The Disney Look appearance guidelines.

Nice To Haves

  • Demonstrated experience providing effective counseling, mentoring, and guidance.
  • Experience as a Residence Life staff member or as a Resident Assistant in a collegiate environment, collaborating with a diverse student population.
  • Involvement in working with a diverse student population.
  • Proficiency with programs including DORMS, SAP, and Workday.
  • Fluency in an additional written and spoken language.
  • Lived in Flamingo Crossings Village while on a Disney Program.
  • Junior or Senior year preferred.
  • Pursuing a degree in any field of study.

Responsibilities

  • Work in the Disney Programs Office and serve as the first point of contact for our Program participants.
  • Handle a high level of administrative responsibility, including data entry, high call volume, and in-person communication.
  • Work with a team of associates to answer participant questions and address concerns about all aspects of the program.
  • Serve as a Program Advisor.
  • Assist in planning and implementing program and learning activities.
  • Serve as a liaison with key program partners.
