About The Position
The Dishwasher is responsible for cleaning and washing dishes, other cooking utensils, and ensuring the cleanliness of all kitchen areas. This role requires performing all duties in compliance with safety standards, health standards, and the Colorado Limited Gaming Act. The position involves maintaining a clean and safe work environment, adhering to safety procedures, and informing supervisors of any unsafe conditions. Additionally, the Dishwasher will maintain a clean, safe, and well-organized kitchen, clean restaurant areas as needed, and foster positive relationships with customers and team members. The role also includes wearing uniforms properly, complying with the Colorado Gaming Act, alerting supervisors to food and beverage quality concerns, and adhering to security policies. Employees are also expected to assist in training new employees.
Requirements
- Demonstrated experience washing dishes and maintaining a clean and safe kitchen, preferably within a hospitality, restaurant or gaming environment.
- Demonstrated experience performing within specific deadlines or under pressure.
- High School Diploma, or the equivalent in education and experience.
- Demonstrated effective and diplomatic oral and written communication skills using English.
Nice To Haves
- Prior dishwashing knowledge or experience within a hospitality, restaurant or gaming environment is desirable.
Responsibilities
- Maintains a clean and safe work environment in compliance with safety procedures and by using safety equipment.
- Cleans and washes dishes, other cooking utensils, and ensures the cleanliness of all kitchen areas.
- Maintains a clean, safe, and well-organized kitchen at all times.
- Cleans restaurant areas, as requested or required.
- Maintains and enhances positive relations with all customers and team members.
- Wears and maintains all uniforms properly.
- Performs all duties in compliance with the Colorado Gaming Act.
- Alerts supervisor of any concerns regarding the quality, selection, and variety of all food and beverages.
- Complies with established security policies and procedures.
- Performs other duties, including special projects, as needed and directed.
- Assists in the training of new employees to ensure proper customer service.
