About The Position

Proof of the Pudding is an award-winning catering company that has expanded into Sports and Entertainment Hospitality Services, providing elevated concessions and premium offerings to various venues. They are the premier food service provider for all Premium/Suites Hospitality locations at Auburn University’s Jordan-Hare Stadium. The company is seeking Stewards (Dishwashers/Utility) who will be responsible for a wide range of tasks to ensure the efficient overall operations of event logistics and business needs. Work assignments and tasks can change daily based on the immediate needs of the event calendar at Wake Forest University’s athletic events. This role is seasonal and part-time, with business needs dictated by athletic events.

Requirements

Must live in or near Auburn, AL
Flexibility to work events, weekends, nights, and holidays.
Ability to work in a demanding, fast-paced environment.
Must be a phenomenal team player.
Adherence to Company Uniform Requirements outlined in the Associate Handbook, uniform requirements outlined in your orientation guidelines.

Nice To Haves

High School diploma or equivalent preferred
1+ year of experience working in a kitchen or as a steward is preferred
Experience in customer service role is preferred.
ServSafe Certified preferred.

Responsibilities

Maintains a clean kitchen, properly washes, and sorts soiled dishes, and preps foods as needed.
Keeps dish area free of clutter and organized.
Sets up dish stations, including dish machines and sinks.
Maintains clean / dry floors throughout the shift.
Properly washes, stacks, and stores China, glassware, silverware, cookware, and storage containers.
Changes water of machines and sinks every two hours, or more often as required by business levels, and properly uses chemical dilutions set by Ecolab.
Assists in the timely storing of food deliveries.
Help deliver food to suites on gamedays.
Pre bussing and assist in the cleanup of suite areas and kitchen/pantries.
Maintains trash cans throughout shift and removes full trashcans and boxes at the end of each shift.
Maintains the dry storage area and the organization of storage shelves.
Assist with maintaining and organizing China and warehouse.
Follows the posted daily dish cleaning duties.
Assists in food prep and any other duties set forth or requested by the chef as needed.
Performs other related duties as required.
