The Dishwasher position at the Fox Theatre is responsible for maintaining dishes, pots, pans, kitchen equipment, and work areas in an orderly and sanitary condition. Requirements

Must maintain dishes, pots, pans, trays, kitchen, work areas, equipment and utensils in orderly and sanitary condition.
Must ensure complete cleanliness and sanitation.
Must ensure compliance with outlined safety procedures.
Must maintain temperatures and chemical levels as outlined by provided standards.
Must keep dish area orderly and in compliance with safety standards.
Must sweep and mop kitchen floors to ensure compliance with safety and sanitation standards.
Must wash worktables, walls, refrigerators, meat blocks and other food prep surfaces.
Must remove trash and place it in designated containers.
Must transfer supplies and equipment between storage and work areas.
Must help load and unload supplies and product.

Responsibilities

Scrapes and rinses food from dirty dishes and washes them by hand or places them in racks or on a conveyor to the dishwashing machine.
Ensures complete cleanliness and sanitation of all washed items.
Washes pots, pans, and trays according to assigned procedures.
Polishes silver using appropriate equipment and procedures.
Ensures compliance with outlined safety procedures.
Maintains temperatures and chemical levels as outlined by provided standards.
Keeps the dish area orderly and in compliance with safety standards.
Sweeps and mops kitchen floors to ensure compliance with safety and sanitation standards.
Washes worktables, walls, refrigerators, meat blocks, and other food preparation surfaces.
Removes trash and places it in designated containers, and steams or hoses out garbage cans.
Transfers supplies and equipment between storage and work areas.
Helps load and unload supplies and product.
Performs other duties as assigned.
