As a Dishwasher, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and efficiency of our kitchen. You will be responsible for ensuring all dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment are washed, sanitized, and stored properly. Your attention to detail and strong work ethic will contribute to the overall success of our cafe.
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Dishwasher or in a similar role preferred
- Knowledge of proper sanitation and safety procedures
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and stand for long periods of time
- Strong attention to detail and a positive attitude
- Ability to work well in a team setting
- Must be 18 years or older
- Able to multi-task and deal with ambiguity in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to communicate effectively with others, written and verbally
- Inclusive, respectful and professional and the ability to work as part of a team
- The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds
- The hours can be part-time/full-time based on availability, available weekends and Holidays, Hours can fluctuate due to the needs of the business.
Responsibilities
- Wash dishes, glasses, utensils, and kitchen equipment by hand or using dishwashers
- Ensure all items are cleaned and sanitized according to health and safety standards
- Organize and store clean dishes and utensils properly
- Assist with kitchen cleanup tasks as needed
- Maintain a clean environment including the cleaning of the back of house, bar areas, and patios to contribute to a healthy environment for customers and employees
- Follow all Verve policies, procedures, and processes
- Have a passion for coffee!
