As a Dishwasher, you'll play an essential role in keeping our kitchen and market running smoothly while helping create a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for guests and team members alike. No experience? No problem! We're happy to train the right candidate who brings a positive attitude and strong work ethic.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years of age or older
• No experience required – we will train the right candidate!

Responsibilities

• Scraping, scrubbing, washing, and sanitizing dishes, pots, pans, trays, silverware, utensils, and other kitchen equipment by hand or using a commercial dish machine according to standard operating procedures
• Retrieving carts and tubs of soiled tableware and transporting them to the dish room
• Properly storing clean and sanitized dishware, silverware, and equipment
• Transporting clean and sanitized tableware and supplies to dining areas
• Monitoring and recording dish machine temperatures and sanitizer concentrations daily
• Cleaning the commercial dish machine inside and out each day
• Maintaining a clean, sanitary, organized, and safe dish room throughout your shift
• Sweeping and mopping floors in the dish room, kitchen, walk-in refrigerators, storage areas, and dock areas
• Completing daily, weekly, and monthly cleaning assignments according to cleaning schedules
• Collecting trash and recyclables and transporting them to designated receptacles
• Training new dishwashers using established training checklists and expectations
• Following Willow Valley's HACCP plan and Food Safety policies and procedures
• Following all safety guidelines while operating equipment and transporting food, supplies, and trash
• Participating in team meetings, in-services, and training sessions
• Assisting with exterior building cleanliness, dining room and restroom upkeep, trash removal, and other duties assigned by management.
