About The Position
Community Hospital is seeking a Part-Time Dishwasher to join their team. This role involves operating and maintaining dishwashing equipment, cleaning various kitchen items, maintaining kitchen areas, and assisting with basic food preparation. The position is located at Community Hospital and requires the candidate to relocate to Grand Junction, CO 81505 before starting work. Requirements
- One (1) year of customer service experience in a food services or retail environment is preferred.
- Current ServSafe certification or Food handler’s Card (or must be obtained within 90 days of hire)
Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain the dishwashing machine.
- Wash dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, and pans using dishwashers or by hand as required. Ensure all cleaned items are thoroughly sanitized and free from food particles.
- Clean and maintain kitchen areas, including sinks, countertops, and floors.
- Perform regular cleaning and maintenance of dishwashing machines and equipment.
- Retrieves dish carts, patient trays, and employee trays throughout the organization.
- Assist kitchen staff with basic food preparation tasks as needed.
