About The Position

Dishwashers are responsible for ensuring dishes, pots, and pans are cleaned daily. They also assist cooks with various tasks and must be proficient in operating specific machinery. Due to the dynamic nature of the Club's operations, employees may be required to perform a variety of functions and assist colleagues as needed. Therefore, employees are expected to undertake additional tasks as required or directed.

Requirements

High School diploma/GED or relevant experience.
English language proficiency.
Ability to stand 100% of the time.
Ability to walk 100% of the time.
Ability to use hands/fingers to handle/feel 100% of the time.
Ability to reach with hands/arms 100% of the time.
Ability to communicate with managers and staff.
Ability to taste/smell 100% of the time.
Ability to lift/exert force up to 50-100 pounds.
Ability to see.
Ability to climb or balance only when necessary.
Ability to stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl occasionally.

Responsibilities

Check the temperature of the dishwasher machine, ensuring wash-cycle is 140 degrees and rinse temperature is 160 degrees at the start of each shift.
Wash and sanitize pot sinks and dish tables using bleach or sanitizer, verifying solution strength with chemical strips.
Ensure dishes, glasses, etc., are not stacked while wet.
Verify that no cracked or chipped dishes or glasses are present.
Confirm there is no evidence of food residue on clean dishes, pots, and pans.
Maintain dry and clean floors as much as possible.
Clean and wash the back dock every night and day.
Wash garbage cans and return them to their designated places every night.
Clean the dishwasher and ensure it is in working order every night.
Clean all floors with bleach every night and day.
Complete other appropriate assignments made by the Executive Sous Chef and/or Sous Chefs.
