About The Position

This role is responsible for washing pots, pans, dishes, and utensils, as well as cleaning and maintaining floors. The position also involves assisting with general cleaning and sanitation, maintaining storage areas and equipment, and potentially receiving training in food preparation. The ideal candidate will have a passion for customer service, a positive attitude, be dependable, and possess effective communication skills to work within a team environment. Collaboration with catering for food delivery and event setup, working effectively under time constraints, and understanding the importance of teamwork are key aspects of this role. The candidate will also follow directions from chefs and managers, support the culinary team and dish room operators, and adhere to HACCP practices for handling dishware and food deliveries. A strong sense of accountability and a commitment to ISS Group's service values and ethics are expected. The role requires adherence to all safety rules and active accident prevention. Requirements

Knowledge of HACCP practices for handling dishware and food deliveries
Passion of customer service
A positive attitude
Accountability and dependable in all that you do
Ability to communicate with teammates
Work up to 8 hours a day on your feet, excluding breaks
Must be able to lift a minimum of 25lbs
Come to work properly dressed according to the dress code
Employee must be able to work under pressure and time deadlines during peak periods

Responsibilities

Wash pots, pans, dishes, and utensils.
Clean and maintain floors.
Assist with general cleaning and sanitation as assigned.
Maintain storage areas and equipment as assigned.
May be asked or trained to prep food.
Setup pot sink correctly according to HACCP practices and wash pots and pans as required, putting them away as them as directed.
Clean or sanitize work areas, utensils, or equipment.
Sweep and mop floors in the kitchen and service areas as required.
Remove garbage as directed in a safe manner.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Must follow all safety rules and actively prevent accidents.
Adhere to Health, Safety, Environment, and Quality (HSEQ) policies and procedures.
Follow safety protocols, maintain environmental responsibility, and uphold quality standards.
Actively participate in HSEQ training and report any potential hazards or compliance concerns.
