About The Position

The Dishwasher is responsible for performing ware washing and facility maintenance duties with a focus on cooperation, urgency, pride, and food safety. This role involves working with the kitchen team to ensure all cookware and storage containers are clean and well-maintained, and that cookware is properly stored. The Dishwasher will learn and follow standard operating procedures for sanitation, adhere to cleaning schedules, and contribute to efficient station turnover and end-of-shift breakdown. Key duties include emptying trash, picking up dirty dishes from cook stations, maintaining a clean work area through sweeping and mopping, and performing additional cleaning tasks as requested. The role also involves cleaning food prep stations and equipment, and assisting with food preparation.

Responsibilities

Perform ware washing and facility maintenance duties with high integrity.
Work with the kitchen team to keep all cookware and storage containers clean and in good shape.
Maintain organization of cookware by returning it to its respective storage areas properly.
Learn and retain standard operating procedures for all sanitation duties.
Consistently follow a timeline and cleaning project schedule.
Partner with the kitchen team to promote teamwork and efficient excellence in station turnover and end-of-shift breakdown.
Empty trash containers regularly.
Check cook stations for dirty dish pickups.
Maintain a clean work area and kitchen by sweeping and mopping as needed.
Perform additional cleaning duties as requested.
Clean food prep stations and equipment.
Assist with food preparation.
