About The Position
Emmy Squared Durham is seeking experienced Dishwashers to join their team and ensure the back of house runs smoothly. The ideal candidate is hardworking, detail-oriented, and ready to contribute to their commitment to excellence. Requirements
- Previous restaurant back-of-house experience preferred.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining quality and safety.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Availability for a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
- Must be able to lift/carry up to 40 lbs. and push/pull up to 75 lbs.
- Must be able to walk and stand for extended periods with frequent bending, twisting, squatting, and reaching overhead.
Responsibilities
- Cleaning and sanitizing cookware, utensils, and dishware following Emmy Squared standards.
- Keeping the dish area organized and ensuring proper machine temperature and chemical safety.
- Maintaining cleanliness of kitchen floors and back-of-house spaces.
- Properly disposing of waste and following dumpster procedures.
- Supporting the kitchen team with additional back-of-house tasks as assigned by management.
