About The Position

The Dishwasher keeps Tupelo Grille operational. You ensure that a continuous supply of clean dishes, glassware, cookware, and utensils is available to both the kitchen and floor throughout service. You also assist with basic kitchen cleaning tasks and contribute to maintaining a sanitary, organized back-of-house environment. Requirements

• Able to stand for an entire shift, work in a wet environment, and lift up to 50 lbs
• Reliable, punctual, and willing to work weekends and holidays
• A team-first attitude

Responsibilities

• Operate the dish machine safely and efficiently throughout service
• Wash, rinse, sanitize, and properly store all dishes, glassware, flatware, and cookware
• Maintain a clean and organized dish area throughout the shift
• Return clean wares to their designated locations in the kitchen and bar promptly
• Remove and dispose of trash and recycling as needed
• Sweep and mop kitchen and dish area floors as directed
• Assist with basic kitchen breakdown and cleaning tasks at the end of service
• Communicate supply levels (chemicals, rack space) and equipment issues to management
