About The Position
JRDN Restaurant, located within the award-winning Tower23 Hotel, is seeking Dishwashers to join their team. This high-volume, contemporary oceanfront steak and seafood restaurant is known for its casually sophisticated cuisine and California-fresh menu. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in a similar environment and a commitment to maintaining the restaurant's tradition of excellence and service.
Requirements
- Prior back-of-house restaurant experience preferred
- Focused, dependable, and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- A positive, team-oriented attitude
- Strong attention to cleanliness and organization
- Reliable and punctual attendance
- Valid San Diego Food Handler’s Certificate or the ability to get one right after hire with company support
- Flexible availability – must be able to work weekends and holidays
Responsibilities
- Operate the dish machine according to proper procedures
- Clean and sanitize dishes, cookware, utensils, and kitchen equipment
- Follow all health, safety, and sanitation guidelines
- Keep kitchen and commissary areas clean, organized, and stocked
- Assist with organizing and sorting weekly food deliveries
- Properly handle and store food in compliance with ServSafe and health code standards
- Support the kitchen team wherever help is needed
- Perform additional duties as assigned by management
