Requirements

  • Must be able to work long hours, often under pressure
  • Organizational skills, HACCP food safety
  • Prior stewarding experience
  • Will work mostly indoors unless outside events organized.
  • Knowledge of Kitchen Chemicals and MSDS
  • You must be committed to superior guest service and quality standards.
  • As a team member of your department you play a key role ensuring the team’s success and achievement of meeting and exceeding our guests’ expectations.
  • Conducts all duties in a friendly, courteous and organized manner.
  • Maintains a clean and organized work area. Keeps tables clear of debris and guest areas clean.
  • Utilizes ISO 9001 training manuals in the initial training of incoming personnel ensuring company policies , procedures, service standards, P.O.S. operations and assigned duties are performed correctly and effectively
  • Responsible for carrying out our core environmental values: promote renewable energy, reduction of waste, protection of wildlife habitat, and environmental education.

  • You must be committed to working in partnership with the National Park Service and community organizations to enhance our guests’ experiences.
  • Work towards the same goals as that of the company with regard to keeping check and track of food cost and labor cost and stay within the budget

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for all cleanliness and upkeep of dish room, pot sinks, shelves, floors, trash and recycling areas
  • Conducts cleaning activities as assigned by superiors
  • Ensures all hand wash stations are stocked with towels, hand wash soap and sanitizer
  • Sweeps, Brushes and mops floor at all times.
  • Empties garbage into the disposal and cleans the garbage disposal area every time used
  • Ensures all stations are properly stocked with necessary plates, glasses, silverware, cookware and tools
  • Demonstrate ability to set up a 3 compartment sink
  • Help other departments when need arises
  • Stocks and maintain all the janitorial storages in the dish room and kitchen
  • Stores clean items in correct storage area.
  • Cleans kitchen grease filters and broiler traps as required.
  • Empties kitchen garbage stands and replaces bags. Removes garbage to designated dumpster area.
  • Other duties as assigned by your supervisor or Senior Management
  • Operates dishwashing machine; washes pots and pans and assists in any tasks required to support the food and beverage operation.
  • Ensures their work area is kept in a neat, clean and orderly condition according to the federal health policies and standards.
  • Adhere to the company’s mission, vision and value statements.
  • Be knowledgeable of the company’s management systems, policies and initiatives for Hospitality, Environmental, and Health and Safety.
  • Carry out specific responsibilities within Hospitality, Environmental, and Health and Safety areas and understand them.
