About The Position
Forest Manor Health Care Facility is hiring a Dishwasher to join our dietary team! We are looking for a dependable, hardworking team member to help keep our kitchen clean, organized, and running smoothly while providing a safe environment for our residents. This is a part-time position.
Requirements
- Reliable and dependable
- Able to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment
- Able to stand for extended periods and lift/move kitchen items
- Must work well with others and take pride in keeping a clean kitchen
- Must be 18 or older
Nice To Haves
- Previous kitchen or healthcare experience is a plus, but not required
Responsibilities
- Wash and sanitize dishes, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment
- Maintain proper dish machine temperatures
- Clean and sanitize kitchen work areas
- Sweep and mop the kitchen and dish area
- Clean and wipe down food carts after meals
- Empty and clean garbage cans
- Keep kitchen areas clean, stocked, and organized
- Follow all food safety and sanitation procedures
- Assist the dietary team as needed
