About The Position

The hourly pay range for this position is $18.00 per hour - $22 per hour. The work hours for this position are Mon-Fri , 7:00 am - 3:30 pm. This role involves washing pots and pans, washing dishes, and maintaining floors. The position also includes assisting with general cleaning and sanitation, maintaining storage areas and equipment, and potentially assisting with food preparation after training. Success in this role requires a passion for customer service, a positive attitude, dependability, and effective communication skills within a team environment. Collaboration with catering for food delivery and event setup, working well under time constraints, and understanding the importance of teamwork are key. The role requires commitment to client service values and ethics, the ability to follow directions from chefs and managers, and supporting the culinary team and dish room operators as needed.

Requirements

Responsibilities

  • Wash pots and pans, wash dishes, maintain floors
  • Assist with general cleaning and sanitation as assigned
  • Maintain storage areas and equipment as assigned
  • May be asked or trained to prep food
  • Setup pot sink correctly according to HACCP practices and wash pots and pans as required, putting them away as them as directed
  • Clean or sanitize work areas, utensils, or equipment
  • Sweep and mop floors in the kitchen and service areas as required
  • Remove garbage as directed in a safe manner
  • Performs other duties as assigned
  • Must follow all safety rules and actively prevent accidents
  • Adhere to Health, Safety, Environment, and Quality (HSEQ) policies and procedures
  • Follow safety protocols, maintain environmental responsibility, and uphold quality standards
  • Actively participate in HSEQ training and report any potential hazards or compliance concerns
