About The Position
We are looking for dependable, hard-working, team-oriented individuals who are fast learners, organized, and possess a positive attitude. The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to cleanliness and work well under pressure in a fast-paced kitchen environment. Responsibilities include washing, rinsing, sanitizing, and storing dishes, utensils, pots, and pans, as well as maintaining a clean and organized dishwashing and kitchen area. The role also involves disposing of trash and recycling appropriately, maintaining clean floors and work surfaces, and following instructions from cooks, chefs, and management.
Requirements
- Ability to stand for long periods and perform repetitive tasks
- Ability to lift and carry up to 25–50 lbs, depending on the workplace
- Reliable attendance and punctuality
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen
- Willingness to work as part of a team
- Ability to follow food-safety and sanitation procedures
Nice To Haves
- Previous restaurant or kitchen experience is helpful but not always required
- Food-handler certification may be required depending on local regulations
