About The Position

This role is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of the kitchen by washing dishes, glasses, pots, and pans according to established guidelines. The position also involves ensuring the kitchen is neat and clean at all times, which includes cleaning up spills, sweeping broken glass, emptying trash, and following safety protocols. The dishwasher may also assist with plating banquet events as needed.

Responsibilities

• Use established guidelines to correctly utilize and maintain dish machine.
• Wash glasses and dishes in standard dish rack.
• Wash pots and pans only in the pot washer's area.
• Ensure all cleaning required to keep the kitchen neat and clean at all times, including sweeping up broken glass/dishes and mopping up any spills.
• Empty full and heavy trash cans, ensuring they are sprayed and sanitized after each use and placing new trash bags in the container after each cleaning.
• Follow all MSDS (Material Safety Data Sheet) protocols, as well as Safety guidelines.
• Perform other duties in other areas of the Kitchen as assigned, including assisting with plating banquet events when needed.
