The Cypress of Charlotte is recruiting for a hospitality focused Dishwasher to join our team. This is a full-time position that includes nights, weekends and holidays. This position is responsible for a number of kitchen activities including pot washing, dish washing, general cleaning duties and storing food and non-food supplies.
Requirements
- Must be age 16 years or older.
- Minimum of one year restaurant/senior living or equivalent experience.
- Ability to set up and operate dish washing equipment.
- Must be able to effectively communicate, read, write, and follow oral and written instructions in English.
Responsibilities
- Performs under the direction of supervisory personnel, dish and pot washing, general and deep cleaning duties and storing food and non-food supplies.
- Accept and receive orders under Chef supervision.
- Sets up the dish and pot washing area.
- Prepares for dish washing and washes pots, dishes and utensils.
- Distributes and stores clean pots, dishes and utensils.
- Cleans and sanitizes production equipment, work surfaces and kitchen according to cleaning schedules and procedures.
- Empties, sanitizes and maintains all trash containers and carts.
